Maurice is passionate about working with youth and supporting people with barriers on their educational, career, and employment journey. He works in collaboration with stakeholders from local wards, local councils, youth organisations, and SMEs, finding the best solutions for those who are hard to reach, coming from low socioeconomic backgrounds, disadvantaged, on the verge of exclusion, and unemployed. His programs add to the local alternative education provision, using elements of PSHCE (Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education) and the Gatsby Benchmarks framework. Maurice's work is well connected to the grassroots needs he identified through research and street surveys.
