As part of our pandemic response, in 2020 we organised a series of events – 2 conferences, 1 networking meeting, and 1 ‘opportunity week’ where 54 organisations delivered 31 training programmes. We started by gathering information about the issues that black & ethnic young people were facing because of COVID, we moved on to promote and share the best practices already happening in the community, we created a space for organisations to form meaningful partnerships, and finally gave back to the whole community during Black History Month.
